Job description

The System Engineer Level 3 provides senior level systems engineering leadership across requirements analysis, system architecture, integration, testing, and lifecycle management. This position supports cross functional Agile teams and leads the design and operation of hybrid cloud environments, enterprise infrastructure, and security focused systems., * Lead cross functional Agile teams to streamline development and integration of complex systems

Perform systems engineering duties including requirements analysis, architecture development, functional allocation, and interface definition
Develop and maintain system engineering documentation (SEPs, ICDs, specifications, DoDAF views, WBS, IMP)
Support system integration, verification planning, risk management, and configuration control
Ensure technical integrity of evolving system baselines throughout the lifecycle
Provide Tier 3 systems and security engineering support for Splunk based SIEM systems
Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve technical issues, assess designs, and maintain system compliance

Requirements

Windows Server 2022, Windows 10/11

Linux distributions such as Rocky, CentOS, and RHEL
Environments spanning both cloud and on premises
Experience architecting, deploying, and maintaining AWS environments, including:
EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, AMIs, Route 53, Workspaces, and core AWS services
In depth knowledge of cloud networking, including:
VPCs, subnets, transit gateways, TGW attachments, TGW route tables
Direct Connect and network peering
Desired experience with automation and provisioning tools such as:
Terraform, Salt, Ansible, BigFix
Ability to maintain and support hybrid cloud/on prem infrastructure, * Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph - No exceptions
20 years of Systems Engineering experience
Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Five (5) additional years of SE experience may substitute for a degree
Must have one IAT Level II certification (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE)
