Job description

Seeking a Senior Infrastructure Support Engineer with strong expertise in desktop support, network troubleshooting, and infrastructure operations. The role supports critical IT environments, ensuring reliable network, endpoint, and infrastructure services while providing advanced technical support to end users., * Provide L3 support for desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and user issues.

  • Troubleshoot network connectivity, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and LAN/WAN issues.
  • Support routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and proxy servers.
  • Respond to incidents, service requests, and technical escalations.
  • Perform software installations, access provisioning, and user support.
  • Monitor infrastructure performance and system reliability.
  • Coordinate with vendors and managed service providers.
  • Maintain documentation, diagrams, SOPs, and support records.
  • Escalate issues to specialized infrastructure, security, cloud, storage, backup, or Microsoft 365 teams.
  • Participate in on-call support and critical incident response.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in desktop, network, systems, or infrastructure support.
  • Strong L3 desktop and network troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience supporting PC hardware, laptops, desktops, and printers.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and LAN/WAN technologies.
  • Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and network infrastructure.
  • Strong communication, customer service, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced operational environment., * Certifications: Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, Linux, or related technologies.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds.
  • Exposure to VMware, Citrix, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, backup, storage, telecom, and Microsoft 365.
  • Healthcare IT or HIPAA-compliant environment experience.
  • Experience working with vendors and managed service providers.
