Job description

We are seeking an experienced Application Developer - EAI (EDI) to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise integration and EDI solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in IBM Transformation Extender (ITX), Oracle, SQL, and Unix environments, with additional experience in Linux and Sybase databases. The role involves designing, implementing, and supporting EDI transactions and integration solutions that facilitate seamless data exchange across business applications and external partners., * Design, develop, test, and maintain EDI and enterprise integration solutions using IBM ITX.

  • Create and modify maps, transformation rules, and data translation processes for EDI transactions.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
  • Support and troubleshoot EDI transaction processing, data validation, and error resolution.
  • Work with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Monitor, maintain, and support applications running in Unix/Linux environments.
  • Perform production support, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration between internal and external systems.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation activities.

Requirements

Do you have experience in SQL?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in EDI/EAI application development and support.
  • Strong hands-on experience with IBM Transformation Extender (ITX).
  • Proficiency in Oracle and SQL database development.
  • Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities., * Experience supporting high-volume EDI transaction processing.
  • Knowledge of common EDI standards such as X12, EDIFACT, HIPAA, or XML.
  • Experience with Sybase databases.
  • Familiarity with shell scripting in Unix/Linux environments.
  • Exposure to enterprise integration architectures and middleware technologies.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Healthcare, financial services, or supply chain industry experience is a plus., Primary Skills:
