Data Scientist - Healthcare

• Develop, enhance, and optimize statistical and machine learning models to improve accuracy and business outcomes
• Analyze large-scale healthcare datasets, including claims and consumer data, to generate actionable insights
• Apply statistical methods such as:
• Hypothesis testing (t-tests, etc.)
• Regression analysis
• Advanced modeling techniques
• Build and maintain data pipelines and analytical datasets using SQL and cloud-based platforms
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business problems into data-driven solutions
• Create ad hoc reports and dashboards to support leadership decision-making
• Provide analytical rigor and ensure models meet academic and statistical best practices
• Present findings and insights to business and clinical stakeholders, with potential participation in conferences and external forums

Do you have experience in Statistical analysis tools?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, Must have: healthcare experience (Claims data highly preferred), SQL, Python, Machine Learning, * Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field

• Healthcare industry experience required, specifically:
• Claims data across payers/providers
• Strong experience with:
• SQL (must-have)
• Data analysis and statistical modeling
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders and communicate complex insights clearly

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree (strongly preferred) in Data Science, Statistics, or related field
• Experience with:
• Snowflake (preferred)
• Python or similar programming languages
