Job description

  • Provide daily IT support to legal staff and attorneys, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues for end-users
  • Install, operate, and maintain computer systems, servers, virtual machine desktops, and telecommunication systems including VoIP
  • Support and maintain both Windows and macOS operating systems, as well as Android and Apple mobile devices
  • Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure including switches, cabling (CAT5e/CAT6), routers, and VPN/remote access systems
  • Support peripheral hardware such as printers, fax machines, and monitors
  • Perform ETL (extract, transform, load) operations across multiple data sets daily
  • Conduct data analysis and reporting using tools such as Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, SQL, R, and PowerShell
  • Support and maintain Citrix ShareFile, Citrix Secure Sign, and other Citrix-related products
  • Set up and troubleshoot video conferencing systems
  • Track inventory, evaluate and research new technologies, and develop contingency plans mindful of budget and overhead
  • Assist with IT-related vendor contract negotiations
  • Maintain system documentation, workflows, and technical specifications
  • Learn and apply skills to the firm’s proprietary systems and legal software
  • Provide support outside of standard business hours, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, MIS, or related field - or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of experience in IT support within a professional business setting
  • Strong knowledge of computer networking, hardware, and systems configuration
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, with a strong focus on Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)
