DevOps Engineer - Cloud, Infrastructure...

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer III to support the development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of enterprise platforms and cloud environments. This role sits at the intersection of infrastructure, networking, and automation, with a strong focus on troubleshooting, performance optimization, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure and platform environments

• Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve issues

• Troubleshoot complex technical challenges in partnership with internal teams and vendors

• Support network trials and proof-of-concept (PoC) initiatives

• Lead incident response, conduct root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes

• Develop and maintain detailed engineering documentation:

• Runbooks

• Methods of Procedure (MOPs)

• Configuration documentation

• Contribute to automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency

• Collaborate across teams to support knowledge sharing and operational excellence

Storage

• SAN, NAS, and Block & File storage protocols

Cloud & Virtualization

• VMware, KVM

• Kubernetes, OpenShift (VNFs/CNFs)

Networking

• BGP, IGP

• Firewall technologies

Compute

• Architecture optimization and performance tuning

Platforms

• Cisco UCS (preferred)

Automation & Scripting

• Ansible, Terraform

• Python, Bash

Containers

• Docker, Kubernetes

Monitoring & Observability

• Grafana, Datadog, Splunk

Data Formats

• YAML, JSON, XML

Security

• Network hardening practices

• Cybersecurity frameworks

Additional Qualifications

• Experience working in multi-cloud environments (public and private)

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration abilities

• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise platforms

• Exposure to network-focused DevOps environments

• Background in continuous integration / continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices

This is a Contract position based out of Denver, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.
