Programming Engineer

Logan Industries is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Programming Engineer to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for programming CNC Gas and Fiber Lasers to support our production operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laser cutting, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure production priorities are met efficiently., Develop, optimize, and manage programs for CNC Gas and Fiber Lasers to ensure efficient and accurate cutting of various materials.

• Collaborate closely with Engineering and Manufacturing Team Leads to understand daily production priorities, scheduling needs, and technical requirements.
• Set up and adjust tech tables for different materials, thicknesses, and cutting conditions to achieve optimal cut quality and machine performance.
• Troubleshoot programming and machine-related issues, working with operators to minimize downtime and improve process efficiency.
• Maintain organized records of programs, revisions, and technical parameters.
• Continuously evaluate and improve programming strategies to reduce material waste and cycle times.

Do you have experience in Production scheduling?, Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of experience programming CNC Gas or Fiber Lasers.

• Organization: Strong organizational skills are a must to manage multiple programs, revisions, and production schedules effectively.
• Collaboration: Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering and Manufacturing Team Leads to understand and execute on shifting priorities.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Software: Experience programming using Trumpf TruTops software is highly preferred. (Experience using similar advanced laser programming software will also be considered).
• Technical Knowledge: A deep understanding of laser cutting principles across various materials, as well as experience setting up and optimizing tech tables.
