- Develop and modify CNC programs using Master CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing)
- Set up 5 axis CNC milling machines and CNC lathes, including installing tooling, calibrating machines, and verifying machine readiness.
- Interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine machining specifications and tolerances.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges, micrometers, calipers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to ensure parts meet exact dimensions.
- Operate advanced machining equipment including electrical discharge machining (EDM), CNC milling machines, and CNC lathes while adhering to safety protocols.
- Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles to ensure parts conform to design intent.
- Troubleshoot machining issues promptly by analyzing tooling wear, machine performance, and program errors; implement corrective actions for continuous improvement.
- Maintain detailed documentation of machine setups, calibration records, and production logs in compliance with quality standards.

- Strong knowledge of CAM programming tools including CATIA or similar software for generating efficient toolpaths.
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls or other common CNC control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of tooling selection, geometry, schematics, and mechanical systems.
- Experience with precision measurement instruments such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste in machining processes.
- Basic understanding of electrical discharge machining (EDM) techniques is a plus.
