Job description

  • Develop and optimize CNC programs for multi-axis milling, turning, and grinding operations
  • Create and verify toolpaths using Siemens NX and CAM software
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Tooling, Quality, and Production teams to improve machining processes
  • Establish setup procedures, tooling strategies, and best practices to improve efficiency and quality
  • Support machinists through training, troubleshooting, and process documentation
  • Participate in fixture, workholding, and tooling design initiatives
  • Evaluate cutting tool technologies and machining methods for difficult-to-machine aerospace alloys
  • Analyze manufacturing processes and implement improvements to increase productivity and reduce non-conformances
  • Support prototype development, process validation, and continuous improvement projects

Requirements

Do you have experience in NX?, * 7+ years of CNC machining experience in milling, turning, and/or grinding environments

  • 5+ years of CNC programming experience
  • Extensive Siemens NX programming experience, including recent hands-on use
  • Experience programming complex 3, 4, and 5-axis machining operations
  • Strong understanding of cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and machining strategies for superalloys
  • Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings
  • Experience with aerospace manufacturing and AS9100 environments preferred
  • FANUC, Okuma, and VERICUT experience is highly desirable
