Job description

Since our founding, we’ve delivered over $1 billion in funding to more than 1 million customers and saved them over $500 million. At Possible, we’re building a new kind of consumer finance company, one that helps people stay out of debt rather than profit from keeping them in it.

We are a Public Benefit Corporation with the mission to help communities unlock economic mobility through affordable credit products crafted to improve financial health for generations. Join the team that’s making our goal a reality.

As part of the front-end team, you’ll build user-centric mobile applications and play a key role in a mission-driven initiative. We revolutionized small-dollar lending; this opportunity is a chance to join the ground floor on a new product.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain scalable React Native applications for the new product
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver user-friendly features and product enhancements
  • Optimize app performance and resolve bugs to ensure seamless user experiences
  • Mentor other engineers and drive the adoption of coding best practices

Requirements

Do you have experience in Technical architecture?, * 7+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in React or React Native development

  • Expertise in performance optimization, debugging, and scalable mobile app architecture
  • Experience delivering customer-facing mobile applications in a production environment (App Store, Google Play)
  • Strong collaboration and mentorship skills, with a track record of fostering technical excellence

Benefits & conditions

4.94.9 out of 5 stars Seattle, WA Hybrid work $175,720 - $191,000 a year - Full-time, Compensation: $175,720 to $191,000, plus significant stock options, comprehensive benefits, a bonus.

With the backing of our venture investors- Union Square Ventures, Canvas Ventures, Euclidean Capital, and Unlock Venture Partners - a dedicated following of hundreds of thousands of customers, and an extraordinary team, we are unwavering in our fight for financial fairness. As one of only a few FinTech Public Benefit Corporations, we’ve baked our dual dedication to building a profitable and socially impactful company into our charter; we only succeed when our customers do too. Give us a shout if you’d like to help us ship financial products that protect consumers from predatory lending practices and promote economic health.

Possible Finance is dedicated to financial fairness and community empowerment. We welcome diverse perspectives and experiences to help us achieve our mission of unlocking economic mobility for generations to come.
