Independent Computer Network Support Specialist

Individual Responsibilities:

• Supporting IT network for the client

• Gathering needs and giving solutions within the client’s IT budget

• Installing software and hardware, supporting servers and needed technology

• Keep agreed upon deadlines

• Document results for clients

• Emailing daily status report to ARS Client Business Development Manager

Do you have experience in Telecommunications network troubleshooting?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, 5+ years experience in implementing, installing and documenting technology, technical project management, documentation and project management.

Skills Required:

• Advanced network support troubleshooting and problem solving and ability to create network diagrams

• Knowledge of installing all Microsoft products

• Advanced organizational skills and ability to explain technologies to clients who are not aware of what technology is needed and why

• Advanced systems installation knowledge and conversant around integration architectures

• Working knowledge of Active Directory, Cisco, Firewalls, Novell and Sharepoint Portal Services is a plus

• Demonstrated work with infrastructure/deployment issues (T1, Routers, Modem and Ethernet technologies)

Education:

Bachelors Degree or higher (preferably with major in Computer Science) MCSE, CCNA and CNE certifications are desired but not required.
