Job description

The incumbent in this position identifies, researches and resolves the most complex technical problems. The individual. The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing support to end users for computer, application, system, device, access and hardware issues while proactively monitoring, managing and responding to system alerts at the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Information Technology Operations Center using a variety of monitoring tools. The individual monitors, diagnoses, analyzes, and anticipates technical/performance issues before becomes a problem/incident, to ensure the operational uptime of all business services and works with appropriate tiers or IT units to quickly restore optimum service. The incumbent tests software and hardware, including new peripherals to evaluate ease of use and whether product will aid user in performing work and serves in a level III support role within the Information Technology support structure.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in System tuning?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field, or an Associate’s degree, High School diploma or equivalent GED and college-level course work and a current technology certification such as A+ OR Net+ is required. Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in a customer-facing support role within an enterprise environment is required. Demonstrated working knowledge of monitoring and tuning systems to achieve optimum performance levels is required. Possession of a valid FL Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to travel to all STOF Reservations and work a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
