Job description

Credit Agricole is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to support Network Operations, security infrastructure, and enterprise network environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience configuring and managing firewalls, routers, switches, data center infrastructure, and network security solutions while ensuring compliance with company security standards. This role requires hands-on troubleshooting, vendor coordination, hardware lifecycle management, and support for critical enterprise network services. Roles and Responsibilities: Support Network Operations and enterprise network infrastructure. Configure and manage switches, firewalls, and routers. Perform data center inventory and patch panel work. Coordinate with network vendors for support and implementation activities. Update firewall configurations as per latest security standards of the company. Assist with hardware lifecycle management of network equipment. Troubleshoot Layer 2 issues and maintain a full understanding of STP. Troubleshoot dot1x/EAP and handle NAC-related issues. Analyze and troubleshoot application and network issues using Wireshark, tcpdump, and related tools. Manage DNS services using Infoblox. Support enterprise network security initiatives and operational activities. Provide off-hours support as required.

Requirements

4+ years of enterprise security experience. 4+ years of experience with Checkpoint, Fortinet Firewalls, F5, and related technologies. Working experience with Cisco ASRs, Nexus, and Catalyst platforms. Knowledge of routing protocols including OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP. Experience updating firewall configurations based on security standards. Experience assisting with network equipment hardware lifecycle management. Strong troubleshooting experience with Layer 2 networking and STP. Experience troubleshooting dot1x/EAP and NAC-related issues. Strong understanding of TCP/IP and UDP. Experience troubleshooting application and network issues using Wireshark and tcpdump. Experience with McAfee Web Gateways. Experience with Infoblox DNS Management. Ability to support off-hours as needed. Banking or Financial Services industry experience. Experience supporting large enterprise network environments. Strong vendor coordination and communication skills. Experience working in data center environments. Knowledge of enterprise network security best practices. Experience supporting hybrid infrastructure environments.
