IT Systems Analyst

• Perform a wide range of system administration duties on database, application, and other servers including install, debug, maintain, upgrade, and general support.
• Evaluate, test, and deploy software and hardware.
• Proactive monitoring of servers, applications and services.
• Perform regular and on-demand system backups and recoveries.
• Work closely with the IT team to provide end-user support and issue resolution for EASTCONN and for external customers.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging server tools and technologies.
• Research, evaluate and recommend system technologies to support educational/business requirements.
• Create and maintain documentation for all processes and procedures.
• Other tasks as assigned.

• Exceptional ability to learn new local and cloud-based system.
• Acumen for analytical thinking.
• Established experience in multiple areas of information technology.
• A.S. degree or equivalent experience (4 years work experience in technology).

Highly Regarded Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience with CHAT-GPT or other intelligent systems.
• Experience with eGAMING.
• Experience with makerspace equipment and/or manufacuring equipment (laser cutters, 3d printers, machine tools, CAD-CAM, STL generation, slicing, etc.).
• Experience with MDM (JAMF).
• Experience with full stack programming (LAMP).
• Experience with any programming.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with Filemaker Pro.
