Job description

  • Build and maintain modern React and Next.js front-end implementations across multiple customer projects
  • Develop scalable, reusable, UI components and front-end architectures
  • Translate Figma designs into high-quality, responsive, and accessible user experiences
  • Own front-end features throughout full project lifecycle, from requirements and technical discovery through implementation, QA, and release
  • Integrate with backend services, APIs, and headless CMS platforms while handling real-world edge cases
  • Optimize application performance using appropriate Next.js rendering strategies (SSR, SSG, ISR, CSR)
  • Collaborate with designers, project managers, backend developers, and project teams to delivery high quality digital experiences
  • Contribute to coding standards, architectural decisions, code reviews, and front-end best practices
  • Participate in project estimation, technical discovery, and solution planning

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience building web applications with JavaScript and TypeScript
  • 4+ years building React applications
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Next.js projects
  • Experience building accessible user interfaces and applying WCAG accessibility standards
  • Comfortable working with REST / GraphQL APIs
  • Experience with modern CSS approaches (Tailwind, CSS Modules, BEM, or similar) Git-based workflows, pull requests, and peer code review *

Strong understanding of the following:

  • Next.js App Router & Page Router
  • React patterns, hooks, state management, and component architecture
  • Rendering strategies (SSR / SSG / ISR / CSR)
  • Client vs server components & hydration
  • Performance optimization & bundle size management
  • Semantic HTML

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience working with headless CMS environments (Sitecore AI/XM Cloud or similar)
  • Exposure to A/B testing, middleware, or edge functions
  • Familiarity with Docker or CI/CD pipelines
  • Agency, consulting, or customer-facing project experience working across multiple concurrent projects and client teams
  • Comfortable leveraging AI-assisted development tools
