Requirements

5+ years of Magento (Magento 2 preferred) experience with a focus on performance optimization
Experience optimizing Magento in cloud environments (Azure preferred)

Technical Expertise

Strong expertise in Varnish, Redis, and CDN configurations
Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and Magento architecture
Experience with performance profiling and debugging tools (New Relic preferred)

Cloud & Infrastructure

Experience with Azure App Services and Azure MySQL Flexible Server
Familiarity with CDN platforms (Akamai, Cloudflare, or Azure Front Door)

Performance & Security

Database optimization (indexing, query tuning)
Understanding of WAF, caching layers, and performance-security interactions

Preferred Skills

Understanding of eCommerce industry best practices and user experience considerations.
Experience with traffic management and load balancing.
Knowledge of DevOps processes, including CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with Magento upgrades (2.4.x)
Familiarity with headless commerce architectures and API-driven integrations
Exposure to observability practices and dashboarding (New Relic, Datadog)
Experience supporting high-traffic B2C platforms
