Job description

job summary: We are seeking a GIS Analyst to support GIS application migration, development, and enhancement initiatives. This role will be responsible for configuring and migrating GIS web applications, performing complex spatial analysis, and maintaining geospatial data and databases. The ideal candidate will have experience with ArcGIS technologies, Python scripting, and GIS application development. This position serves as a technical resource for internal stakeholders throughout application migration, testing, and deployment activities.

responsibilities:

  • Configure, refactor, and migrate GIS web applications, including ArcGIS Web Experience Builder, to support platform transitions and evolving business needs.
  • Perform complex spatial analyses and generate maps, reports, and application outputs that support operational and business requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and update GIS applications, spatial databases, basemap information, and thematic datasets.
  • Support GIS application development, testing, deployment, and quality validation activities while ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Document application configurations, migration processes, procedures, and metadata, and provide technical consultation to internal customers.
