Job description
We are seeking an experienced Lead Security Technician to oversee the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and support of enterprise-level electronic security systems. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, can manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and is passionate about developing technicians while delivering high-quality projects.
The Lead Security Technician will serve as a field leader, coordinating crews, ensuring project milestones are met, and acting as a key technical resource for customers and internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead field teams during the installation and deployment of electronic security systems.
- Coordinate daily activities, manpower, and project priorities to ensure successful project execution.
- Install, program, commission, and troubleshoot access control, video surveillance, and integrated security systems.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and project documentation.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company standards, customer requirements, and safety regulations.
- Serve as the primary technical resource on assigned projects.
- Train, mentor, and support junior technicians.
- Communicate project updates, challenges, and solutions to project managers and leadership.
- Perform system testing, quality assurance checks, and customer demonstrations.
- Travel to project sites as needed throughout the region and nationwide.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in Physical security system troubleshooting?, * 5+ years of experience installing and servicing commercial electronic security systems.
- Previous experience leading technicians, crews, or field operations.
- Strong knowledge of access control, CCTV, and integrated security platforms.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex system and network-related issues.
- Experience working in data centers, critical infrastructure, enterprise, commercial, or large-scale environments is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required., * Natural leadership ability with a strong sense of ownership.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Hungry, ambitious, and eager to grow professionally.
- Fast learner who can quickly adapt to new technologies and environments.
- Strong customer-facing communication skills.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-moving, high-growth organization.
