In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of data center hardware, software, and network systems. Your technical expertise will help optimize performance, troubleshoot issues swiftly, and support our mission to deliver reliable IT services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of technologies in a fast-paced environment dedicated to innovation and excellence., * Provide comprehensive technical support for data center hardware, including servers, storage devices, and networking equipment.

  • Troubleshoot software issues across various operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and macOS, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Manage computer systems and peripherals through tools like SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), GPO (Group Policy Objects), and Active Directory.
  • Maintain network infrastructure by configuring and supporting LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), VPNs (Virtual Private Networks), firewalls, DNS (Domain Name System), TCP/IP protocols, and network security measures like Meraki devices.
  • Support desktop environments and mobile devices to ensure seamless user experiences across the organization.
  • Assist with IT infrastructure management including server deployment, monitoring via BMC Remedy or ServiceNow, and network administration tasks.
  • Collaborate with help desk teams using Jira or ServiceNow to resolve incidents efficiently while documenting all troubleshooting steps thoroughly.
  • Conduct analysis of system logs and performance metrics to identify potential issues proactively.
  • Support software deployment and updates using tools like SCCM while adhering to security protocols such as VPNs and firewalls.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and end-users to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring clarity on technical solutions and support processes.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Customer communication?, * Proven experience in technical support, desktop support, or IT support roles within data centers or enterprise environments.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills for software issues across Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems.
  • Expertise in computer management tools including Microsoft Office suite, SCCM, GPO, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP protocols, and network administration fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware components and their maintenance within data center settings.
  • Familiarity with network security devices such as firewalls and Meraki networking solutions; experience configuring VPNs is a plus.
  • Ability to manage IT infrastructure components like servers (Windows Server), Linux systems, BMC Remedy or ServiceNow ticketing platforms, Jira incident management tools.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and end-users while delivering top-tier customer service.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret system logs and performance data for proactive issue resolution.
  • Understanding of mobile device management and operating systems support to ensure comprehensive device coverage.
