The Opportunity: Join an elite, small engineering team at a rapidly expanding manufacturer specializing in designing custom automation and robotic cells for a global clientele. As one of the five Lead Engineers, you will play a crucial role in driving this company’s growth into a leading international OEM provider. What You Will Be Doing

  • Design Architecture: Leading the mechanical design of high-speed automated machinery with precision.
  • Conceptual Development: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to brainstorm cost-effective solutions for project concepts.
  • Task Structuring: Breaking down complex design scopes into manageable milestones and coordinating with external partners.
  • Fluid & Power Transmission: Integrating hydraulic, pneumatic, and servo-driven systems into custom machinery frames.
  • Risk & Safety Mitigation: Conducting thorough design reviews to identify and address safety concerns before production.
  • Global Client Liaison: Managing technical communications with international customers to meet global standards.
  • Release & Revision Control: Overseeing engineering release schedules, bills of materials, and addressing assembly issues.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Solid modeling technique?, * EXPERIENCE DEPTH: 5-10 years of hands-on experience in designing heavy, custom machines for industrial applications such as high-speed assembly and automation.

  • SOFTWARE MASTERY: Proficiency in using SolidWorks for intricate mechanical machine design and managing large assemblies.
  • TECHNICAL FOCUS: Expertise in integrating robotic work cells, precision power transmission, pneumatic systems, hydraulics, and high-speed pick-and-place mechanisms., * Custom Machine Pedigree: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or 5-10 years of experience in custom equipment design.
  • SolidWorks Power User: Proficiency in modeling complex assemblies and creating detailed manufacturing drawings.
  • Manufacturing Acuity: Knowledge of fabrication processes, welding techniques, and machining tolerances.
  • Project Leadership Habits: Ability to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and lead a technical team effectively.
  • Employment Stability: Demonstrated tenure and dedication to past employers without frequent job changes.

Up to $120,000 * Brown Deer, WI Area * 100% Onsite * High-Growth Global OEM, * EARNING POTENTIAL: Competitive salary up to $120,000 per year, based on experience and leadership in custom machine design projects, plus company benefits.

  • PROJECT OWNERSHIP: Autonomy in leading the design-to-build process, overseeing projects from concept to completion on the production floor.
  • LOCATION: Based in the Greater Brown Deer / Northern Milwaukee County area, requiring a daily commute to the design facility.
  • COMPLIANCE: Only open to United States Citizens or Green Card holders; visa sponsorship is not available.
