Software Integration Specialist

Job Summary of the Application Engineer: The Application Engineer will provide detailed sales and systems application support, working closely with Product Platforms and Engineering teams. This role involves guiding Sales and internal Engineering departments on product design, creating customized solutions, and preparing design proposals and drawings. The Application Engineer plays a key role in developing solutions tailored to meet customer needs. Job Duties & Responsibilities of the Application Engineer:

• Review product requirements versus capabilities with Sales and/or customers
• Create detailed drawings and layouts using SolidWorks and AutoCAD/DraftsSight
• Develop manufacturable designs based on product specifications and performance requirements
• Support Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and corrective actions
• Collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing, and Quality teams on design reviews
• Provide engineering support to the manufacturing shop floor and assist with commissioning
• Interpret regulatory codes such as UL, NEC, and NFPA

Do you have experience in Technical writing?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, Associate degree in Mechanical Design, Electrical Design, or Engineering Technology, plus 3-5 years of related experience, or equivalent combination

Proficiency in AutoCAD (2018 or newer) and SolidWorks is required

Sound understanding of mobile electrification systems for industrial and/or commercial use is required

Strong communication skills to effectively document and discuss technical requirements

Ability to communicate and effectively document conversations with Sales and/or Customers concerning applications and technical requirements
