Job description
This IT Helpdesk Analyst II position is located in Topeka, at the Eisenhower State Office Building, and is within the Office of Information Technology Services. This position provides advanced technical support for end-user computing environments across the organization., * Manage the lifecycle of portable and cellular-enabled devices.
- Administer devices using Microsoft Intune and Apple Business Manager (ABM).
- Image, configure, deploy, and refresh desktops and laptops according to organizational standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for Windows devices, peripherals, and mobile endpoints.
- Track inventory and create asset management records for cellular and wireless equipment.
- Document solutions, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for reuse and knowledge sharing.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Serve as liaison for the EverBridge emergency communication system, coordinating with Safety Teams for regular testing and system readiness.
Requirements
- One year of advising and assisting computer users in a distributed computing environment.
- Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency. Transcripts are required for education to be considered., * Independent work experience in systems software, including network administration and electronic mail messaging systems.
- Experience working with Microsoft’s Active Directory and Microsoft Office.
- Experience providing technical support to end users in an IT Service Desk environment.
- Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), A+ or Network + Certification
