Cloud DevSecOps Engineer

Elevate Technology Solutions is seeking a Cloud DevSecOps Engineer to support Data Transport Operations and Services and CDS within a federal cloud program. This role focuses on software development and operational support for cloud computing systems, including development of new cloud-native capabilities, enhancement of existing applications, and support of monitoring and operational tooling within secure environments.

The selected candidate will work closely with cloud engineers, DevSecOps teams, and operations personnel to support scalable and reliable cloud-based software systems. This role includes front-end application support, systems integration, troubleshooting, and ongoing modernization activities supporting mission-critical environments., * Design, develop, and maintain software solutions supporting cloud computing systems and operational environments

• Support development and enhancement of monitoring and operational tooling, including front-end applications and dashboards
• Provide technical guidance and operational support to software developers and engineering teams
• Support maintenance, upgrades, and modernization of existing cloud-based applications and services
• Collaborate with DevSecOps, infrastructure, and operations teams to support secure software delivery and system integration
• Troubleshoot and resolve software, system, and application performance issues
• Support CI/CD pipeline integration and automated deployment activities
• Assist with cloud-native application development and distributed system operations
• Contribute to technical documentation, system design artifacts, and operational procedures
• Support software lifecycle activities including testing, validation, deployment, and sustainment
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives supporting system scalability, reliability, and operational effectiveness

Do you have experience in Systems engineering?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Active Secret security clearance

• U.S. Citizenship required
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering, or systems engineering
• Experience supporting cloud-based applications and operational systems
• Understanding of cloud computing concepts and distributed systems
• Experience troubleshooting and supporting enterprise applications
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Certifications

• DoD 8570 / 8140 compliant certification (IAT Level II required)
• One or more cloud certifications required, * Experience supporting federal or DoD cloud programs
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud automation
• Experience supporting monitoring, observability, or operational dashboard tools
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
• Experience with Kubernetes, containerized environments, or cloud-native applications
• Experience working in secure or classified environments

$100,000 - $130,000 a year - Full-time, Contract
