  • Supporting system upgrades, modifications, and optimisation projects to improve reliability and efficiency.

  • Maintaining accurate technical documentation, service reports, and system records.

  • Delivering training and support to end users and site personnel where required.

  • Working closely with engineering teams and customers to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.

The position will be primarily based from the company’s head office; however, regular travel to customer sites throughout the UK will be required.

Requirements

We are keen to speak with engineers who have experience within industrial automation, controls, electrical engineering, or similar environments.

Candidates should ideally possess:

  • Strong electrical fault-finding abilities.

  • Experience with PLC programming, including Ladder Logic and/or Structured Text.

  • Familiarity with SCADA and HMI systems.

  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, or similar.

  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with customers and colleagues.

  • The ability to work independently whilst also contributing as part of a wider engineering team.

Our client recognises that no candidate will tick every box and is committed to providing ongoing training, mentoring, and development to help bridge any skill gaps.

Core office hours are:
