Lab & Field Hardware Technician

• We are hiring a Lab & Field Hardware Technician to support hands-on hardware, network, storage, and lab infrastructure activities.
• The role involves equipment installation, troubleshooting, cabling, inventory management, shipping, and basic server/lab support.

Responsibilities:

• Perform hardware installs, replacements, NIC swaps, cabling, and switch wiring.
• Support storage replacements, disk swaps, and spare parts handling.
• Troubleshoot basic LAN/WAN, server, and lab infrastructure issues.
• Support ESX, Hyper-V, Windows Server, and lab environments.
• Manage equipment shipping, RMAs, inventory tracking, and asset records.
• Follow runbooks, document work, and escalate complex issues.

• 1-3 years of experience with hardware, servers, cabling, or infrastructure support.
• Basic networking and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to handle rack equipment, labeling, and inventory tasks.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Nice to have: experience with containers, CI/CD, or storage networks.
