Job description

Prudential’s Developer Experience team is working to enhance their internal developer portal to make all of Prudential’s development work more streamlined and thus more productive. The portal is built within Backstage.io and acts as a centralized hub for all things development. The full stack developer will work cross functionally within this platform to develop and improve Prudential’s developer experience. They will implement and stitch together backend processes to provide more wholistic experience for the developers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years as a full stack developer experience building applications from scratch

  • Frontend development experience with JavaScript

  • Backend development experience mainly using Node.js

  • Experience with Backstage.io for OpenSource development

Experience with backend API integrations - Experience using or developing AI tools

  • Experience tying in MCP servers
