The Monitoring & Observability Engineer will design, implement, and maintain enterprise monitoring solutions using Dynatrace across applications, servers, databases, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform). Responsibilities include onboarding systems into Dynatrace, creating dashboards, alerts, health checks, and monitoring standards, supporting Windows/Linux servers, VMware, Kubernetes, and network monitoring, troubleshooting performance and availability issues, participating in incident response and root cause analysis (RCA), and improving monitoring through automation using PowerShell or Bash. The role requires 5+ years of experience in infrastructure monitoring and Dynatrace, knowledge of cloud platforms, networking (DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing), ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and Jira, and experience defining KPIs, SLAs, and monitoring thresholds. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential, while experience with Dynatrace Managed-to-SaaS migration, ITIL practices, and AWS certifications is preferred.
