Job description

We are hiring an Asset Coordinator to support onsite IT asset and spare parts management for a large-scale AI computing cluster project in Paris.

This role is responsible for asset registration, serial number tracking, inventory check-in/check-out, spare parts tracking, faulty part isolation, periodic inventory audit, and RMA coordination.

This is a full-time onsite day-shift role. The Asset Coordinator will work closely with the onsite operations team, Project Manager, customer team, and OEM/vendor support teams., * Maintain accurate records of onsite IT assets and spare parts.

  • Perform asset registration and serial number/barcode scanning.
  • Manage inventory check-in and check-out records.
  • Track spare parts usage, movement, availability, and status.
  • Support periodic inventory audits and reconciliation.
  • Isolate, label, and record faulty parts.
  • Coordinate RMA processes with customer, OEM, or vendor teams.
  • Support delivery coordination and onsite logistics for spare parts.
  • Maintain records for replaced parts, faulty parts, returned parts, and disposal/destruction where applicable.
  • Work with engineers to ensure hardware replacement records are complete and accurate.
  • Support daily/weekly reporting related to asset status and inventory accuracy.
  • Follow data center access, storage, safety, and handling procedures.
  • Provide daytime support to the onsite operations team when needed.

Role Scope

This is mainly an asset, spare parts, inventory, RMA, and documentation role.

It is not a deep technical troubleshooting or engineering role. The Asset Coordinator may work closely with technical teams but is not expected to perform high level troubleshooting, GPU analysis, firmware debugging, or root cause analysis.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Root cause analysis?, * Experience in asset management, inventory control, IT hardware logistics, spare parts management, warehouse coordination, RMA, or technical support operations.

  • Good understanding of IT hardware components, such as servers, SSDs, PSUs, GPUs, cables, and spare parts.
  • Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in record keeping.
  • Comfortable working with Excel, asset trackers, ticketing systems, barcode/serial number records, and inventory lists.
  • Good coordination and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Professional working English is required.
  • Mandarin Chinese is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Experience in a data center, IT hardware, telecom, warehouse, logistics, or technical operations environment is preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with RMA coordination.
  • Experience with faulty part isolation, hardware return process, or disposal/destruction records.
  • Experience supporting server maintenance or data center operations.
  • Familiarity with customer audit or inventory accuracy KPI requirements.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Monthly gross salary starting from €3,000, depending on experience, technical background, language skills, and overall match with the role.
