Job description

Gravity is building the infrastructure layer to make AI free. We are an AI-native ad network that serves millions of ads per day inside AI platforms. We match ads to conversational context in real time using ML scoring models and generate ad text with LLMs. We’ve raised our seed round led by Caffeinated Capital and Basis Set Ventures and are scaling fast.

AI platforms need a business model. Gravity is that business model. We’re building the ad engine, attribution system, and ML pipeline that turns AI usage into revenue. This is foundational internet infrastructure being built from scratch. Our partners include ElevenLabs, Vercel, MongoDB, OpenRouter, Deel, and more.

We’re a small team shipping daily in San Francisco. The problems are hard and the surface area is enormous. We’re looking for someone to own large parts of the system end to end. You will work closely with the founders. We are building in person.

We’re looking for people of exceptional competence to join our team. If this is you, and you want to build the infrastructure layer of the AI economy, apply.

What you’ll do here

  • Build and scale a real-time ad auction engine handling millions of requests per day.
  • Ship ML models for relevancy scoring, CTR prediction, and value-based bidding.
  • Design systems that integrate LLMs into production Ad generation pipelines.
  • Build event pipelines, attribution systems, and analytics infrastructure on AWS and Redshift.
  • Work across the full stack - Python/FastAPI backend, TypeScript/Next.js frontend, vector databases, Redis, PostgreSQL.
  • Ship new features daily.
  • Make lots of decisions quickly.
  • Take ownership of entire systems end to end.

Requirements

Do you have experience in TypeScript?, * 3+ years of software engineering experience, ideally with ML systems, ad tech, or high-throughput backend.

  • A bias toward building fast and shipping over process.
  • Familiarity and deep interest in the rapidly changing capabilities of LLMs.
  • Comfort owning entire systems with no one above you to catch mistakes.
  • Strong intuition for data correctness and edge cases.
  • A need to move fast and a low tolerance for nonsense.

Benefits & conditions

3.53.5 out of 5 stars San Francisco, CA $200,000 - $300,000 a year - Full-time, * $200,000 - $300,000 USD salary

  • 0.5% - 1.5% equity
  • Health benefits
  • We sponsor visas for exceptional candidates worldwide
