Job description

We’re looking for a proactive and adaptable WordPress developer to help us design, develop, and maintain high-quality websites that combine technical excellence with outstanding design. You’ll work closely with our design and marketing teams to bring creative ideas to life and ensure every project meets our high standards of quality, performance, and functionality., * Develop and maintain WordPress-based websites for a variety of clients.

  • Collaborate with design and marketing teams to transform creative concepts into functional, responsive, and visually appealing websites.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Optimise websites for speed, performance, and SEO.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and new ideas for client projects.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time and meet quality expectations.

Requirements

Do you have experience in WordPress?, * Proven experience as a WordPress developer with a strong portfolio.

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development/customisation.
  • Familiarity with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles and responsive design.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO and website performance optimisation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Effective communication and a collaborative mindset.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Figma).
  • Basic server management or cPanel/hosting knowledge.
  • Previous experience in an agency setting.
  • Interest in professional development and learning new technologies.
