The Tier 1 Support Engineer will work with customers to identify support issues.
The Tier 1 Support Engineer will fully document customer issues
The Tier 1 Support Engineer will address customer issues and will utilize internal documentation as a guideline where applicable.
The Tier 1 Support Engineer will document all work performed
The Tier 1 Support Engineer will document technical processes as required
The Tier 1 Support Engineer will document system configuration information as required
The Tier 1 Support Engineer will perform on-site assistance as required
The Tier 1 Support Engineer will monitor system events and alerts as required
The Tier 1 Support Engineer will perform other tasks as may be required
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, Sierra Experts is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Tier 1 Support Engineer to be a core member of our operations team.
We require a dedicated problem solver who can multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced and demanding environment. The position will work closely with other Operations Engineers and developers to help support small, medium and large-scale clients. This is a full-time position with excellent growth potential., Self-Motivated
Must be highly motivated.

Excellent Communicator
Must possess strong communication skills, both written and oral.
Detail-Oriented
Must be able to handle very detailed job requirements as required
Very Strong Understanding of Basic IT Support Concepts
Must have a very strong understanding of fundamental IT concepts in the areas of desktops, servers, and networking.
Manages Time Effectively
Must be able to manage own schedule and workflow efficiently in order to meet all assigned objectives.
Learns Fast
Must be a fast learner with respect to quickly picking up newly assigned duties
Learns Unfamiliar Concepts
Must be willing and able to learn about unfamiliar technical and procedural concepts.
Required Technical Skills: Must be able to operate, configure and troubleshoot the following systems
Windows-based workstations
Microsoft Exchange and other mail clients
Active directory implementations
Problem and Resolution Writing
Must be able to quickly and easily communicate technical concepts in writing.
Microsoft Office
Must be proficient with standard MS Office applications
Technical Task Documentation
Must be able to review and interpret very technical work notes
Education: Associates degree or equivalent experience is required
Must have some level of education or experience in Information Systems Support, Information Systems Engineering or related disciplines.
