Job description
The IT Support Technician is responsible for providing both remote and onsite technical support to our clients. This role includes workstation deployments, Microsoft 365 administration, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, networking projects, and low-voltage infrastructure work., * Troubleshoot Windows desktops and laptops
- Resolve Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 issues
- Provide onsite and remote technical support
- Create and manage user accounts
- Support Active Directory and Azure environments
- Troubleshoot printers, scanners, and peripherals
- Configure and support mobile devices
- Document work performed within ticketing systems
- Escalate issues appropriately when necessary
Workstation Deployments
- Deploy new desktops and laptops
- Perform workstation upgrades and replacements
- Migrate user profiles and data
- Image and clone computers
- Install monitors, docking stations, printers, and peripherals
- Configure new employee workstations
- Maintain hardware inventory and asset tracking
Networking & Infrastructure
- Install and configure switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Troubleshoot wired and wireless connectivity issues
- Assist with network upgrades and refresh projects
- Rack and organize networking equipment
- Label and document network infrastructure
- Assist with server and cloud migrations
Low Voltage & Field Services
- Run, terminate, and test Cat5e/Cat6 cabling
- Use toner and cable testing equipment
- Trace and identify existing network cabling
- Install and mount:
- Wireless Access Points
- Security Cameras
- Wireless Bridges
- Network Switches
- TVs and Digital Displays
- Build and organize network racks
- Work on ladders and above-ceiling environments as required
Security & Best Practices
- Assist with cybersecurity deployments
- Support MFA implementations
- Support endpoint security solutions
- Identify security concerns and escalate appropriately
- Follow company documentation standards and best practices, * Can confidently handle most workstation and Microsoft 365 issues independently
- Provides outstanding customer service
- Completes onsite visits professionally and efficiently
- Maintains thorough documentation
- Understands when to escalate issues
- Is comfortable working directly with executives and end users
- Takes ownership of assigned work and follows tasks through completion
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in Windows?, This position is ideal for someone who wants exposure to a wide range of technologies, enjoys solving problems, and is comfortable working directly with end users and client leadership., Candidates with MSP experience, Microsoft 365 experience, networking knowledge, and low-voltage cabling experience are strongly preferred., * 2+ years of professional IT support experience
- Strong Windows desktop troubleshooting skills
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365
- Basic networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Wi-Fi
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Strong organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- MSP experience
- Microsoft 365 Administration experience
- Azure Active Directory experience
- Microsoft Intune experience
- Ubiquiti, Meraki, or similar networking experience
- Low-voltage cabling experience
- Network rack installation experience
- Cybersecurity platform experience
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year, * 401(k)
