The Program Manager is responsible for coordinating and overseeing system operations, maintenance activities, governance processes, reporting, and transition planning for a mission-critical enterprise application operating in a regulated federal environment.
This role ensures coordinated execution across technical teams, stakeholders, and system owners while maintaining structured schedules, reporting, and compliance with governance and reporting requirements., * Coordinate system maintenance activities between developers, system owners, and stakeholders.
- Adapt to and support evolving change control and governance processes.
- Provide resource-loaded Microsoft Project schedules and cost analysis prior to work execution.
- Assist in tracking transition-related risks, issues, dependencies, and schedules.
- Provide support for project analysis, task tracking, and coordination across teams.
- Maintain schedules, issue tracking, and status reporting for system changes and impacts.
- Support coordination of interconnecting system change notifications and release timing impacts.
- Update and maintain interconnection agreements (MOUs and ISAs) as required.
- Provide project management support for security and compliance activities (including ATO-related support where applicable).
- Provide coordination support for AO/CCB briefings and governance meetings.
- Ensure compliance with Monthly Letter Status Report (MLSR) and reporting requirements.
- Support delivery reporting including deliverables, risks, personnel, and performance metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 7-10 years of program or project management experience in IT environments.
- Experience managing schedules, deliverables, and cross-functional teams.
- Experience with structured governance, change control, and SDLC environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP certification preferred.
- Experience supporting federal or highly regulated IT programs.
- Experience managing enterprise application sustainment or transition efforts.
- Experience coordinating multi-system integrations and dependencies.
