Technical Support Specialist

• Travel to a customer’s headquarters (and other locations as needed) 5 days/week to provide a variety of tech services as outlined by the firm. A gas card and company vehicle is provided for all commutes.
• Manage and respond to customer issues via phone, in person, or via the Help Desk ticketing system.
• Provide high touch, hands-on assistance to customer issues and concerns, as they arise.
• Run diagnostics to troubleshoot and resolve customer reported issues.
• Follow-up face-to-face, via email, chat or phone with customers to ensure issues are resolved.
• Escalate issues to the next Tier after all attempts have been made to troubleshoot the issues.
• Install, make changes and repair computer hardware and software as needed.
• Accurately document tasks and time taken to complete work for customer into company’s timekeeping system.

Do you have experience in Windows?, * Must be professional, patient and accommodating with all customer interactions.

• Exceptional customer service skills, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a help desk environment, preferably in-person.
• Schedule flexibility - standard work hours are Monday - Friday, but occasional assistance may be needed outside of standard work hours, depending on customer’s needs.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Windows and PC computers.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve basic computer technical issues.
