Job description

We’re looking for a Reliability Engineer who can analyze problems, fix them at the root, and keep equipment running long-term.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll work directly with maintenance teams to reduce downtime, improve reliability, and solve recurring equipment issues.

A Day in the Life

  • Start your day off with a safety meeting
  • Review equipment performance and recent failures
  • Jump in on breakdowns to identify root cause (not just quick fixes)
  • Analyze trends in downtime, repairs, and maintenance data
  • Work alongside maintenance techs to troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Improve preventive and predictive maintenance plans
  • Identify weak points in systems and recommend upgrades
  • Track findings and updates in CMMS and reporting tools

What You’ll Work On

  • Packaging lines, conveyors, and production systems
  • Motors, pumps, compressors, and drive systems
  • Electrical systems: wiring, panels, controls, transformers
  • HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, and facility equipment
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic systems

Tools & Technology:

  • CMMS systems (maintenance tracking & analysis)
  • Multimeters and diagnostic tools
  • Vibration analysis, thermal imaging, or predictive tools (preferred)
  • Data tools (Excel or similar for tracking trends)
  • Blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on equipment failures
  • Improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs
  • Analyze equipment performance (MTBF, downtime, etc.)
  • Work closely with maintenance teams to solve recurring issues
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems when needed
  • Recommend system improvements, upgrades, or process changes
  • Help reduce downtime and extend equipment life
  • Ensure all work meets OSHA, LOTO, and safety standards

Requirements

Do you have experience in Voltage testers?, * 3-5+ years of experience in maintenance, reliability, or engineering

  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with industrial equipment and production systems
  • Ability to analyze problems and implement long-term solutions
  • Experience with CMMS or maintenance tracking systems, * Reliability experience (RCA, FMEA, PM optimization)
  • PLC or controls experience
  • Predictive maintenance tools (vibration, thermography, etc.)
  • Engineering background (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial)

$38.50-$42.50/hr (DOE) + Overtime Available 1st Shift | 8-Hour Shifts Full-Time | Immediate Opening
