Job description
The Technical Support Agent is responsible for delivering high-quality technical assistance to both new and existing clients of Pitney Bowes. This role provides support across the company’s suite of products and equipment and plays a key part in ensuring a seamless client experience.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, technical aptitude, and a commitment to exceptional customer service while supporting both external clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, and chat channels

Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely and professional manner

Educate clients on product functionality, services, and best practices
-
Process service requests, including equipment repair and maintenance coordination
-
Collaborate with internal teams to address and escalate complex issues as needed
-
Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and resolutions
Work Schedule
- Must be available to work 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Central Time, Monday through Friday
Requirements
Do you have experience in Technical support via phone?, * Proven reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Ability to communicate professionally with a wide range of stakeholders, including IT professionals, government agencies, end users and escalated clients

Demonstrated customer service skills, including patience, professionalism, and attention to detail
Technical Requirements (Must Have)

Experience handling inbound customer calls
-
Strong written communication skills
-
Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

Prior call center or customer support experience
-
Experience troubleshooting equipment and technical systems

Familiarity with remote technical support tools and environments
Technical Competencies

Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues (e.g., internet, Wi-Fi, proxies)

Ability to remotely diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
-
Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities
