Job description

We’re looking for an I.T. Technician to provide office technical support with some field work in our restaurants. Primary focus will be supporting office staff during regular business hours. Occasional field support in our restaurants may be needed for special initiatives or emergency situations. Most field related work will be in the greater Charlotte area, with rare situations requiring support at further distances.

The I.T. Technician is responsible for basic support of all I.T. related equipment in the office, and providing technical support - either locally, or via telephone and other forms of communication - to the staff using the equipment. While this position will be based primarily in the Charlotte area, onsite support may be requested in over 150 locations in additional areas and states, and reliable transportation and a variable work schedule may be needed.

The position is based on a 40-hour work week. Occasional weekend and after-hours work may be required. Overtime will be paid for work beyond 40-hours, and compensatory time may be offered depending on current schedules. Tools and equipment are provided by the company, and there’s opportunity for bonus incentive.

I.T. Technician Duties

· Basic PC maintenance in a Windows environment

· Standard business equipment including, but not limited to:

  • PCs
  • Monitors
  • Telephones
  • Printers, Faxes, Scanners
  • Modems

· Basic Networking principles and equipment including

  • Network switches
  • Routers
  • Wireless access points
  • TCP/IP protocols
  • Firewalls and Port Forwarding

· Restaurant equipment support including but not limited to:

(Training and education will be provided on this equipment)

  • Point-of-Sale equipment
  • Kitchen Display Systems
  • Drive Thru Headsets
  • Drive Thru Timers
  • Alarm Systems
  • Video Surveillance Systems

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in Hardware maintenance?, · Minimum 3 years of experience providing desktop, hardware and basic service support

· Degree, technical certification, or equivalent work experience preferred

· Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record required.

· Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in office and restaurant environments (when needed)

· Ability to travel as needed, including occasional overnight travel
