Founding Engineer

We’re looking for a founding backend engineer for a YC F25 startup to build the distributed systems that power their AI employees. From day one you’ll own real systems and shape the future.

In any given week you’ll be:

• Designing and building complex backend systems and distributed infrastructure
• Building the orchestration layer that runs our agents
• Making decisions on reliability, performance, and data flow
• Putting out whatever fire just flared up
• Building internal tools so the whole team moves faster
• Hacking quick prototypes to find out if they’re useful

Do you have experience in Systems engineering?, * Have deep experience with backend and distributed systems

• Turn vague problems into clear action items
• Ship code constantly
• Geek out on the newest AI tech/trends/ideas
• Enjoy diving into problems you’ve never seen before
• Hold a high bar and own the quality of everything you touch
• Love in-person team culture (we’re in San Francisco)
