Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled User Experience (UX) Design Contractor to support the modernization of internal business tools and employee-facing platforms. This role focuses on replacing legacy systems with modern, scalable, and user-centered solutions that improve operational efficiency and user experience.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with UX, Product Management, and Engineering teams to design intuitive workflows and development-ready interfaces aligned with enterprise standards and accessibility best practices.

Key Responsibilities User Experience & Interface Design

  • Design modern and intuitive user experiences for internal business applications
  • Transform legacy workflows into streamlined, user-centered interfaces
  • Create high-fidelity UX/UI designs ready for development handoff
  • Produce interaction specifications and design documentation for engineering teams

Design Systems & Accessibility

  • Apply and contribute to enterprise design systems
  • Ensure consistency, scalability, and accessibility across all designs
  • Follow accessibility standards and usability best practices

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with:
  • Product Owners
  • Business Analysts
  • Engineering teams
  • Stakeholders
  • Participate in:
  • Requirement gathering
  • Planning sessions
  • Design refinement activities
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs

Workflow Analysis & Improvement

  • Analyze existing legacy workflows and identify:
  • Gaps
  • Inefficiencies
  • Usability challenges
  • Recommend and design improved user experiences that enhance workflow efficiency

Usability & Iteration

  • Support usability testing and validation activities
  • Iterate designs based on stakeholder and user feedback
  • Ensure final solutions align with enterprise standards and business goals

Requirements

Do you have experience in UX prototyping?, * 5+ years of experience in:

  • User Experience (UX) Design
  • User Interface (UI) Design
  • Product Design
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating:
  • End-to-end UX processes
  • Enterprise or complex application design
  • Experience with:
  • Figma
  • Design systems
  • Prototyping tools
  • Proven ability to deliver:
  • Development-ready designs
  • Detailed interaction specifications
  • Experience working in Agile environments alongside engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing:
  • Internal business tools
  • Employee-facing platforms
  • Operations or service applications
  • Experience with:
  • Microsoft Dynamics / Dynamics 365
  • Legacy system modernization projects
  • Understanding of:
  • Accessibility standards (WCAG)
  • Enterprise UX best practices
  • Experience in regulated industries such as:
  • Financial services
  • Healthcare
  • Insurance

  • Figma
  • Microsoft Dynamics (preferred)
