Wordpress Developer (North & South America Remote)

• Develop custom WordPress themes, plugins, Gutenberg blocks, and API integrations.
• Build and maintain scalable backend solutions using PHP, MySQL, REST APIs, and WordPress best practices.
• Implement custom post types, taxonomies, user roles, and content workflows.
• Optimize website performance, caching, security, and scalability.
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and improve code quality.
• Collaborate with designers, architects, DevOps, and project teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical documentation and best practices.

Do you have experience in WordPress?, We are seeking an experienced Senior WordPress Developer with strong expertise in custom WordPress development, performance optimization, and modern web technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable, secure, and high-performing WordPress solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams., * Strong experience with WordPress development, including custom themes, plugins, Gutenberg (React), WP-CLI, hooks, and REST APIs.

• Proficiency in PHP 7/8, OOP concepts, Composer, and modern backend development.
• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and React.
• Experience with MySQL optimization, Redis/Memcached, CDN integration, and performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of WordPress security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment workflows.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Headless WordPress (Next.js, Gatsby, React).
• Familiarity with enterprise hosting platforms such as WordPress VIP, Pantheon, or WP Engine.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse optimization, and performance audits.
• Exposure to CRM, analytics, marketing automation, or third-party integrations.

Pay: $5,000.00 - $6,000.00 per month
