Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Enterprise Applications Analyst to support the administration, monitoring, integration, and continuous improvement of enterprise systems across a complex organizational environment. This is a temp-to-permanent opportunity supporting critical business applications, with the potential for the selected contractor to compete for a permanent leadership-level enterprise applications position., * Provide technical support, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance for enterprise applications and services.

  • Support daily operations of Ellucian Banner and related enterprise systems.
  • Monitor application performance, system processes, and scheduled data exchanges.
  • Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and coordinate timely resolution.
  • Maintain operational documentation, support procedures, and system knowledge resources.

ERP, Database, and Integration Support

  • Serve as a technical resource supporting Ellucian Banner Student Information System (SIS).
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data movement between Banner and connected applications.
  • Support database-related troubleshooting involving tables, data validation, and system interfaces.
  • Maintain and monitor integrations between:
  • Banner and admissions systems
  • Banner and housing management systems
  • Other enterprise applications and vendor platforms
  • Assist with integration testing, validation, and troubleshooting.

Automation & Microsoft Technology Support

  • Develop, maintain, and monitor automation scripts using PowerShell.
  • Support Microsoft 365 administration, account access, and endpoint-related processes.
  • Assist with workflow automation and process improvements.
  • Troubleshoot Microsoft account, access, and authentication issues for users.

Application Projects & Continuous Improvement

  • Support application upgrades, enhancements, implementations, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Manage multiple technical priorities and integration activities simultaneously.
  • Create project documentation including timelines, testing plans, issue tracking, and implementation notes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce manual processes, and enhance service delivery.

Customer Service & Business Partnership

  • Collaborate with departments including academic operations, enrollment, finance, human resources, and other business stakeholders.
  • Communicate technical issues and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support for application-related issues.
  • Build strong working relationships with business teams and technology partners.

Secondary Enterprise System Support

  • Provide occasional support and troubleshooting for Oracle-based PeopleSoft systems supporting financial and human resource operations.
  • Assist with system dependencies, reporting needs, and operational support.

Requirements

Do you have experience in University experience?, Do you have a Master’s degree?, This role is a hands-on technical position focused on enterprise application support, system integrations, data flows, automation, troubleshooting, and operational continuity. The ideal candidate will be a self-driven technology professional who can independently manage priorities, troubleshoot complex application issues, and partner with business departments to deliver reliable solutions. The position will play a key role in supporting student-facing and administrative systems, especially during high-volume operational periods requiring strong system reliability, data accuracy, and responsive support., Candidates should have experience supporting enterprise applications, integrations, ERP systems, databases, or related technology environments. Qualified candidates may meet requirements through one of the following:

  • Master’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Systems, or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience; OR

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 4+ years of relevant experience; OR

  • High school diploma/equivalent with 8+ years of directly related enterprise application experience., * Experience supporting higher education enterprise systems or similarly complex environments.
  • Experience with Ellucian Banner ERP.
  • Experience with Oracle databases and SQL reporting.
  • Experience supporting integrations and data workflows.
  • Experience with PowerShell automation.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Experience with identity and access management.
  • Experience supporting enterprise SaaS applications.
  • Experience with application implementations, upgrades, and system enhancements., The successful candidate will demonstrate: Project Management Mindset

  • Able to receive objectives, understand desired outcomes, and independently determine the steps needed to complete assignments.
  • Takes ownership of systems, issues, and deliverables with minimal supervision.
