Job description

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join PG&E’s Data & Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data science, machine learning, predictive analytics, and large-scale data processing. This is a hybrid position, and local candidates who can attend onsite meetings in San Ramon , CA are highly preferred.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Statistics?, * 5+ years of Data Science experience

  • Strong Python and SQL skills
  • Experience with Machine Learning and Predictive Modeling
  • Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or Spark
  • Data visualization experience using Tableau or Power BI
  • Statistical analysis and forecasting
  • Experience working with large datasets
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Utility industry experience
  • Experience with AWS or Azure
  • Knowledge of SAP data and enterprise analytics
  • GIS or Asset Management analytics experience

Requirements:

  • W2 Only
  • Local candidates preferred
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment in San Ramon, CA

Benefits & conditions

$100 - $110 an hour - Contract
