IBM Maximo- Integration Technical Lead

Highstep Technologies is seeking a highly experienced Integration Technical Lead specializing in IBM Maximo / MAS to take ownership of complex, multi-system integrations supporting a critical utility transformation program. This role leads integration design and development, validates technical specifications, ensures delivery quality, and provides strong direction across interconnected workstreams.

The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on expertise in MIF, MAS 8/9, REST/SOAP, automation scripting, integration architecture, and enterprise-scale environments (SAP, Power BI, Azure Data Factory). This position also requires a senior-level technical strategist capable of stabilizing delivery, guiding developers, resolving complex issues, and collaborating closely with architects, PMO, and client stakeholders., Technical Leadership & Delivery Oversight

• Lead all integration-related technical workstreams (design, development, testing, deployment).
• Review and validate Functional Designs (FDs) and Technical Designs (TDs); identify gaps and drive resolution.
• Provide daily technical direction to Integration Developers, Testers, and cross-functional delivery teams.
• Ensure integration components meet performance, scalability, and security standards.
• Manage dependencies across SAP interfaces, middleware, external systems, reporting platforms, and mobile/field tools.

Integration Design & Development

• Architect and lead development using the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF): Object Structures, Enterprise Services, Publish Channels, Endpoints, Processing Rules, Automation Scripts.
• Oversee API development and consumption using REST, SOAP, JSON/XML, and middleware connectors.
• Support MAS/Maximo configurations tied to integrations, including workflows, escalations, system events, and cron tasks.
• Troubleshoot integration defects, data sync issues, API failures, workflow exceptions, and environmental defects.

Advanced Technical Expertise (Preferred)

• Support or guide cloud-native deployments (OpenShift, Kubernetes) in partnership with DevOps.
• Provide oversight for Power BI data pipelines, Azure Data Factory ETL flows, and API-driven integrations.
• Lead optimization efforts including SQL tuning, caching, performance enhancements, and data integrity improvements.

Quality Assurance & Testing

• Partner with QA to develop integration test cases, validate data flows, and support SIT/UAT.
• Ensure all integration deliverables comply with Highstep’s quality standards and client governance frameworks.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate directly with business SMEs, architects, PMO, and client technical leads.
• Communicate risks, impacts, and mitigation options with clarity and precision.
• Lead technical walkthroughs, design reviews, and defect triage meetings.

Do you have experience in XML?, * 7-10+ years hands-on Maximo/MAS technical experience.

• Deep expertise with Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) and enterprise-scale integration design.
• Strong experience with MAS 8.0 / MAS 9.0, Maximo 7.6, and hybrid migration/upgrade environments.
• Expert-level proficiency with REST APIs, SOAP, JSON/XML, and web service integrations.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor developers across distributed teams.
• Strong SQL experience (procedures, triggers, tuning, validation).
• Advanced troubleshooting across databases, middleware layers, integrations, and Maximo configurations.
• Solid functional understanding of asset/work management, scheduling, and operational reporting., * Experience in integrating Maximo with other boundary systems.
• Experience with Power BI dashboards, Azure Data Factory, ETL pipelines.
• Cloud-native deployment experience (OpenShift, Kubernetes).
• Experience with BIRT reports, KPI dashboards, and service-level analytics.
• Experience supporting mobile Maximo solutions.
• Experience in utilities, public sector, or regulated industries., * Strong leadership presence with ability to guide distributed technical teams.
• Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal).
• High ownership, proactive issue resolution, and ability to stabilize complex delivery environments.
• Strong consulting maturity; works effectively in fast-paced, high-visibility programs., * Have you served as a Technical Lead on Maximo/MAS integration
