Job description

  • Maintain and optimize data collection and sharing processes.
  • Develop SSRS reports and Power BI dashboards to support business intelligence.
  • Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server Clusters and Power BI Report Server.
  • Monitor and optimize SQL Server performance.
  • Design and develop complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and customers to define and refine requirements.
  • Assist in system analysis and application design efforts.
  • Ensure adherence to database standards, best practices, and security policies.
  • Participate in JIRA-based team development processes.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Expert-level experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS, and Power BI.
  • Strong expertise in T-SQL development (stored procedures, views, functions).
  • Hands-on experience in SQL performance tuning and optimization.
  • Experience developing and maintaining complex reports and dashboards.
  • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve data issues efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with system administrators, developers, and stakeholders.
  • Experience with ETL processes and data integration.
  • Knowledge of data access performance tuning and database performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with data transport protocols (e.g., SFTP, XML, JDXDML).
  • Experience with Case Management data and/or Justice System data.
  • Understanding of Application Development Lifecycle and documentation best practices.
  • Basic knowledge of networking principles and system resource analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
