Job description
E-logic is seeking an experienced Senior SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to maintain the integrity, security, and performance of enterprise-level production databases supporting IRS Criminal Investigation (CI) Management Information Systems (including CIMIS and AFTRAK). This role focuses on daily database operations, logical/physical architecture adjustments, monthly database snapshots, and data remediation scripts to facilitate upcoming data migrations., * Maintain daily database operations, monitor SQL jobs, configure automated backups, and execute database patches.
- Deploy production and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) database updates, generating monthly data snapshots.
- Implement database optimizations, script execution for structural reorganizations, and maintain sanitized test environments.
- Audit server security baselines regularly to address FISMA and Cybersecurity compliance findings.
Requirements
Do you have experience in T-SQL?, * Experience: 7+ years of experience as a dedicated SQL Database Administrator.
- Technical Expertise: Advanced expertise in Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise Edition and Transact-SQL (T-SQL).
- Data Design: Proven experience in Logical and Physical Database Design.
- Security & Compliance: Familiarity with FISMA, NIST, or federal security compliance scanning tools (e.g., Guardium, Tripwire) is a major plus.
- Clearance: Must be able to successfully pass an IRS High-Risk Background Investigation and a 7-panel federal workplace drug screening.
