Job description

As a SQL Developer at VigorCare Pediatric Services, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our SQL databases and data warehouses. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure the integrity and accuracy of our data, as well as develop and implement data-driven solutions to support our business operations., * Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases and data warehouses

  • Develop and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data
  • Monitor database performance and identify and resolve issues
  • Collaborate with IT team to ensure data integrity and security
  • Develop and implement data-driven solutions to support business operations
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for database and data warehouse systems
  • Participate in code reviews and provide recommendations for improvements
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in database technology
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database issues as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and database design principles
  • Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes
  • Familiarity with database management tools such as SQL Server Management Studio and SSIS
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry and HIPAA regulations is a plus
