Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Website Automation Tool to revolutionize our web testing and deployment processes. This role is essential in developing, maintaining, and enhancing automated testing frameworks that ensure our websites and web applications perform flawlessly across multiple platforms. As a vital member of our quality assurance team, you will leverage cutting-edge automation tools to streamline testing workflows, reduce manual effort, and accelerate release cycles. Your expertise will help us deliver seamless user experiences while maintaining the highest standards of software quality. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of web automation technology, supporting innovative digital solutions on a global scale., * Design, develop, and implement automated test scripts for web applications using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, and Cucumber.

  • Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps to enable continuous testing and deployment.
  • Conduct comprehensive functional, regression, performance, load, and system testing for websites and web services across browsers and devices.
  • Collaborate with developers and business analysts to gather requirements and translate them into effective test cases and automation strategies.
  • Perform root cause analysis on defects identified during testing phases using debugging tools and data analysis skills; document issues clearly for resolution.
  • Maintain and enhance automation frameworks by updating scripts for new features or platform changes in languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by preparing test environments, executing test cases, and validating results to ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements

Do you have experience in User acceptance testing?, * Extensive experience with Selenium WebDriver for browser automation across Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, and mobile browsers.

  • Proficiency in programming languages including Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, and scripting languages like Bash or PowerShell.
  • Strong knowledge of TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber (BDD), HP ALM, TFS (Team Foundation Server), GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket for version control.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and SOAP web services for API testing using Postman or similar tools; experience with JSON/XML data formats.
  • Hands-on experience with mobile testing frameworks such as Appium for Android and iOS applications; understanding of mobile automation best practices.
  • Knowledge of database management systems including MySQL, SQL Server (Microsoft SQL Server), Oracle, PostgreSQL; ability to perform data analysis using SQL/PLSQL queries.
  • Experience with performance testing tools like LoadRunner or JMeter; understanding of system performance metrics and bottleneck identification.
  • Familiarity with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), Waterfall processes; ability to adapt to fast-paced environments.
  • Skills in troubleshooting software issues through debugging tools within Visual Studio or Eclipse; strong analytical skills for root cause analysis.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Azure DevOps; experience with containerization tools like Docker is a plus.
  • Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, XML, JSON; understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA) and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is advantageous.
