Job description

  • Conduct trade studies to optimize form, fit, and function of aerospace fluid systems.
  • Develop detailed system layouts and airframe integration in CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE.
  • Create experimental and production digital product definition for components, assemblies, and installations.
  • Define dimensions, materials, processes, and configuration requirements for engineering release.
  • Ensure designs meet technical specifications, performance standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define and validate ECS and propulsion interfaces with adjacent systems and aircraft structures.
  • Support model and drawing checking, engineering part/model release, and engineering change processes.

Requirements

Do you have experience in System design for system development?, * Minimum of 500 hours using CATIA V5, CATIA V6, or CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE / 3DX.

  • Experience with aerospace fluid systems design and integration.
  • Experience with high-pressure and low-pressure metallic tubing and ducting.
  • Experience with composite ducting.
  • Knowledge of fabrication methods for tubing, ducting, and fluid system components.
  • Experience with ASME Y14.100 drawings and ASME Y14.5 GD&T.
  • Experience supporting model checking, drawing checking, engineering release, and engineering change processes.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional engineering teams.

Preferred Background:

  • Aerospace, aircraft, defense, or advanced airframe systems experience.
  • Experience with ECS, propulsion interfaces, fuel systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, or environmental control systems.
  • Strong CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE design and product definition experience.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to work onsite in Fort Worth, TX.
  • Must be able to complete a 2-step video interview process.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
