Design Engineer

Do you have experience in Teamwork?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred

• Previous chassis component design experience preferred
• Experience designing subframes, engine mounts, suspension, steering, or related chassis systems
• Experience with aluminum die casting and stamped/welded structural components preferred
• Proficiency in CATIA V6 (solid modeling required; surfacing preferred)
• Understanding of GD&T principles and 2D drawing interpretation
• Familiarity with CAE modeling and analysis concepts (stiffness, natural frequency, etc.)

• Chassis component design and development

• Robust parametric modeling and design intent creation
• 2D drawing creation and interpretation
• GD&T awareness and application
• Technical problem-solving and root cause analysis
• Cross-functional collaboration with design, test, and supplier teams
