Job description

We are looking for a Web Developer & SEO Specialist to manage the company website and grow traffic through Google and similar search engines.

In this role you will help develop and maintain our website while learning and applying SEO strategies that drive real results.

What You Will Do Website Development

  • Build, update, and maintain web pages using HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
  • Manage and publish content through our CMS (WordPress or similar platform)
  • Ensure pages are mobile-responsive, fast-loading, and cross-browser compatible
  • Assist in designing landing pages and campaign microsites in collaboration with the marketing team
  • Perform routine site audits to identify and fix broken links, errors, and outdated content
  • Support integration of third-party tools such as forms, chat widgets, and tracking pixels SEO & Digital Marketing
  • Conduct keyword research and assist in developing on-page SEO strategies
  • Optimize page titles, meta descriptions, headings, and image alt text
  • Monitor website performance and rankings using Google Search Console and Analytics
  • Support link-building outreach and content optimization efforts
  • Prepare regular reports on traffic, keyword trends, and SEO progress
  • Stay current with Google algorithm updates and SEO best practices

Requirements

Do you have experience in SEO content writing?, * Basic proficiency in HTML and CSS (coursework, bootcamp, or self-taught is welcome)

  • Familiarity with WordPress or another CMS platform
  • Understanding of core SEO concepts (on-page, technical, and off-page)

  • Comfortable working with Google Analytics and Google Search Console
  • Detail-oriented, eager to learn, and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Strong written communication skills for creating or editing web copy

Nice to Have (not required)

  • Exposure to JavaScript or a JS framework (React, Vue)
  • Experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz
  • Basic graphic or UI skills (Canva, Figma, or Adobe XD)
  • Google Analytics or HubSpot certification
  • Portfolio, GitHub profile, or personal website to showcase your work

Education A degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is helpful but not required. Equivalent hands-on experience, bootcamp completion, or a strong portfolio will be considered equally.
